Ted is the owner of Ted's Shoe and Sport in downtown Keene. Although he loves sports of all kinds, Ted has enjoyed playing the drums for over 30 years. He has played in 6 different bands from Norway to Colorado, and still finds time to keep a beat when he's not selling shoes or sports equipment! Having played in rock, jazz and blues bands, Ted brings a musicians ear to help judge our Keene Karaoke Idol! Visit Ted's Shoe & Sport.
Steve Pro has been singing professionally for over 20 years. From 1986 through 1991 Steve was the vocalist of Kalamity Jane. The band released two full length LPs, toured and opened for Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Pat Traverse, and Quiet Riot. Currently, you will find Steve singing with, local favorite, the Tom Foolery Band (link) with the Scott Free Horns or as a guest vocalist with the Keene Jazz Orchestra.
You may remember Jennifer from such favorite roles as crazy Cassie Cooper in Branch River Theatre's production of Rumors, and Brooke/Vicki in the Jeff Stout Concepts production of Noises Off. She has also performed with several other theatre groups in the area including the Vermont Theatre Company, the Keene Lions Club, and the AIDS Services benefit, Just Desserts. When not on the stage, Jennifer enjoys playing the role of "Mommy" to her two beautiful, amazing, brilliant daughters, and is employed at the Monadnock Radio Group, where you may recognize her voice as her alter ego "J Bo".
Each week there will be a Mystery Judge in the audience whose votes will count toward winning contestants. This may take off a little pressure on the singers. It's just one way we've spiced up the judging this year.
All proceeds from this event go to
support AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region. Please support this important
non-profit organization by attending.
